As a business owner, mom of 2, with a part-time job I love an “easy button”. I thrive on curbside pick ups, drive through coffee shops and Amazon.
Nobody appreciates a quick, easy and effective solution more than I do. This is why I have created an Amazon list to share with all of my clients, so that the “now what do we wear” issue can be solved within minutes of booking a photography session!
This sweet family was styled by me, all with items found on my Amazon client list!
My strategy for choosing clothing on Amazon is:
Choose colors that compliment each-other. Neutral colors always go well together.
Layers. Sweaters that fit loosely around Mama’s elbows, or Dad in an open button-up shirt with a tee underneath. Layers always add dimension to an outfit, and look really nice in photos!
Keep it casual. If Dad is in a long sleeve shirt, make sure you’re able to roll up the sleeves.
Check the reviews! I never buy an item that has zero reviews. Thats usually the first thing I check when I find an item I like. Pro tip: Look for reviews with photos. Make sure the colors and fit are as advertised. The review section is your biggest tool in finding out about the quality of the clothing you’re going to buy. You can sometimes filter the reviews by clothing size, which can help you decide which option would be best for you. I have personally sized up or down on items based on reviews, and its always worked out perfectly.
If you receive your item and it isn’t great, returns are easy! Most items can be returned through Kohl’s at no cost. Just check the return policy in your Amazon app for more details.
If you need an extra set of eyes on what you’re planning on ordering, create a list with all of your items and send it to me! I’m always happy to help.
My goal for every session is to create an amazing, cohesive gallery in the easiest way possible! I am here to provide the tools to make booking a session and styling your whole family a piece of cake.
Hi! I know this is an older post, but I’m looking for this dress! I don’t see your Amazon list. Could you help me find it? Thanks!
